In Idaho the 3rd grade is when students learn the grand history of their state - Early Pioneer History.   Education is paramount to the DCHS and we are fortunate to be able to share our treasures with educators in the area. 

 

As part of our outreach program we offer three educational options: 

1. A Visit to the Farmstead for 3rd Grade Classes

A Visit to the Farmstead

 

​Join costumed docents as you and your student historians venture back in time to learn how Phillip Schick, his wife Mary, and their daughter Clara lived day to day in their Dry Creek Valley Farmstead during the late 1800s.

Mrs. Schick Classroom Visit - New Program!

Mrs. Schick, in period costume, will come to your classroom and talk with your student historians about what farmstead life was like in the Dry Creek Valley in the late 1800s.

Her visit is one part of a full curriculum experience!
